The chanell four News team, Ron Burgundy, Brian Fantana, Brick Tamland, and Champ Kind.Ron Burgundy is the anchorman, and is loved by all of San Diego in the 70's. When feminism enters the newsroom in the form of ambitious newswoman, Veronica Corningstone. Ron is accepting this as long as she stays in her place, covering cat fashion shows, cooking, and other "female" interests.
Veronica begins to refuse to be eye candy and doing dumb news, and steps behind the news desk, it's more then a battle between the two anchor-persons.The eventually both become the anchor-persons, always at each others necks.
One day Veronica decides to change the words on the telopromter, which makes Ron lose his job.
Veronica is now the full time anchor-person, while Ron turns into a drunken bum.On the day of the most important news story, Veroinca dissapeared, so Ed Harken (the boss) had to call Ron to report the news once again.
